Bruce Doyle, ActionCOACH Master Licensee, has named Darren Reddy as the newest ActionCOACH in Melbourne, Australia.

Reddy will be operating from his Ormond Office in Melbourne.

Prior to joining ActionCOACH, Reddy was an accountant at BHP and worked his way up to being financial controller for a $65 million portion of the business. He was in charge of finance, warehousing and logistics with many of the staff members reporting to him.
After 10 years in the corporate world, Reddy was prepared to start afresh.

"I now wanted to learn about the small-to-medium-sized business sector," he said. With this aim, Reddy joined Franchise Developments as a consultant and worked his way up to General Manager with a team of consultants working for him.

"It is the ultimate compliment to a business that a franchisee is willing to put his house on line in order to be a part of the franchisor's business," he said. "They will do so only if the Franchisor has good systems, good marketing, good track record and contended employees or existing franchisees."

Reddy has an excellent understanding of financial concepts, distribution, logistics, marketing, sales and people management.

"I pride myself on giving practical advice to business owners and always search for straight forward solutions that business owners can understand and implement without excessive costs," he said.

"The most successful businesses always have good communication and people skills, together with a solid comprehension of the technical aspects of business," he said. "My experience has shown me that most issues start with poor communication."

Reddy was impressed by the team at ActionCOACH.

Having set up franchise businesses for a living for the past seven years, Reddy has been able to get a very detailed knowledge of what to look for from a Franchisor.

"There is no way I would have joined ActionCOACH unless I found them to have a highly professional approach and a very good system that can assist Franchisees," he said.

A sports enthusiast, Reddy is a member of the Blackburn Football Club. He is also a member of the Franchising Council of Australia.
